MANILA, Philippines – The Liberal Party (LP) yesterday expressed confidence that its presidential bet Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and running mate Sen. Manuel Roxas II would emerge the winners since “someone who is not corrupt and has a clean record remain the top qualification preferred by Filipinos in choosing who they will vote for” in the May elections.
The LP said Filipino voters prefer candidates with unblemished track record as shown in the surveys made by Pulse Asia and Social Weather Stations (SWS).
The LP said the surveys are strong indicators of their victory in this year’s presidential and vice presidential elections.
