CIA agents masquerading as election observers, Comelec told

Posted by akosistella on March 9, 2010

A LEGISLATOR on Monday called on the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to toughen the accreditation procedure for foreign observers, especially those coming from the US, for fear that they may be agents of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) out to spy and interfere in the May elections.

In calling the Comelec’s attention, Kilusang Bagong Lipunan Rep. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. of Ilocos Norte said these people may just be disguising as legitimate foreign poll observers.

“The Comelec should thoroughly examine the credentials and background of all foreign observers, particularly the Americans, to ensure that they are not CIA operatives,” Marcos said.

  1. Bongbong should know. 😉

Anyway, if the COMELEC can’t do something as routine as website maintenance, imagine them trying to hinder the CIA.

there’s no way the COMELEC could stop a foreign intelligence agency from spying on us, especially the CIA. Just try to imagine how hard the people from the CIA are laughing at Marcos’ remark.

Noynoy was probably chosen by the CIA as the most American-friendly candidate that’s why he won. Control of the politics of other countries is the CIA’s affair after all.
