Supreme Court says Joselito Mendoza is still Bulacan governor

At a press conference, Supreme Court spokesman Midas Marquez said nine magistrates voted in favor of Mendoza's petition, four dissented, while two abstained.
The court said there was “grave abuse of discretion on the part of the Commission on Elections” when it ordered Mendoza to leave the provincial capitol in early March.
But Marquez said Pagdanganan's camp could still file a motion for reconsideration, adding that the court had to release the order because the deadline for the ante order ends today (Tuesday).
