ZAMBOANGA CITY — The Arroyo administration is consulting with presidential candidates on the talks with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) in preparation for the forging of a final peace deal.
Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Annabelle T. Abaya told BusinessWorld she wants to make sure that the next president would honor and recognize the administration’s efforts on the issue.
“We are engaging all the presidential candidates. We are telling them on what we have gone through, and what we have achieved and gained so far. That I think is very critical,” she said.
