MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) legal chief on Wednesday indicated that poll commissioners and other ranking officers of the poll body may be probed for the cancelled P700-million ballot secrecy folder supply contract.
“Tingnan natin sa terms ng en banc resolution. We will come out [with the findings] today,” Ferdinand Rafanan, Comelec legal chief, told ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda when asked if commissioners will be included in his investigation.
Rafanan's office has been given 2 weeks to come up with a report on its investigation into the possible irregularities in the awarding of the supply contract to the OTC Paper Supply owned by Henry Young.
