Teodoro dares De Venecia: Campaign for me

CADIZ CITY — Instead of trying to regain control of his old political party, Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), Pangasinan Representative Jose de Venecia Jr. should just campaign for him and help him win the elections, administration candidate Gilbert Teodoro said Friday.
Talking to reporters here in between sorties, Teodoro reminded De Venecia of his support to him twice when he sought the speakership of the House of Representatives.
De Venecia was booted out as Speaker in 2008 after he had a falling out with President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo over the alleged anomalous national broadband network contract that was exposed by his son, Jose “Joey” De Venecia III.
Teodoro, Manzano plan to be seen together more often in poll campaign
CADIZ CITY — Proving their combination to be a crowd-drawer in sorties, administration candidates Gilbert Teodoro and Edu Manzano plans to be seen together more often as the campaign shifts to high gear in the last 29 days before election day.
“As much as possible we jive our schedules, unless there are two simultaneous events that we both need to attend, then we split it,” Teodoro said in an interview here.
Manzano said he wanted as much as possible to campaign with Teodoro in campaign sorties because the latter helps bring in the crowd.
