BUTUAN CITY — Leaders of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) in the Caraga Region have expressed doubt if they can field enough poll watchers to guard all the 2,145 polling precincts in the region, saying some of their volunteers have already been recruited by political parties.

But in a press conference at Fr. Saturnino Urios University (FSUU) here, Rev. Fathers John Young, FSUU President and Randy Jasper C. Odchigue, FSUU Policy Center Director, also assured newsmen that the PPCRV is already ready for the May elections.

Asked how much ready is “being ready” or by what percentage is their preparedness for the polls, they said: “Basta, We are ready.”
