Can Gibo still catch up?

Gilbert Teodoro – Gibo – is admitted by at least two of the three candidates leading him in the more reliable surveys as the most qualified (after them) to run the country. He has been working hard, campaigning for long hours and doing all that he can to win; still, he has not broken through to double-digit percentage points.
He has a slim chance to still become president. If his numbers hold up (most candidates for local posts and for congress are affiliated with Lakas-Kampi-CMD) and if they stay with him to May 10, that is the one possibility for Gibo. If a lot more people leave the party, however, Gibo would have lost his one chance. He has all of 22 days to stop the unraveling of his political party, in which he is among the newest members.
