About Pulitika 2010
Pulitika2010, as the title implies, is all about politics. In the runup to the May elections, there are a lot of info, data, news/feature stories, opinions, blogs, video, and photos out there about every candidate who has thrown his hat into the fray, as well as vital electoral issues.
I started this blog, first, to de-clutter my own personal blog. which originally started out as a repository of my published stories in the BusinessMirror and other publications, as well as my usual musings about life in general.
Second, with the electoral campaign heating up, I think we all need a more orderly fashion to deal with all these information so we can make proper and informed choices about our candidates come May 10, 2010.
So I shall try my best to aggregate all those interesting bits of news and data out there for your consumption. In addition, this blog will feature my humble opinion on current political issues, as well as the views of others I respect in the blogging and journalism communities.
May I thus invite you all to read up, say your peace (or piss), and make a stand. This may be the last chance for us to make a difference in our country and the lives of our fellow Filipinos. It’s time for us to roll up our sleeves and get down to the more challenging work of leading this country into a new decade of change. Our elected leaders cannot do this alone. They need our help. Let’s give them a hand, shall we?
